Primary Care Paramedics is part of Location Medical Services Ltd who are a CQC registered independent medical service providing professional medical services to the Live Events, Feature Film, TV production and media industries since 1997.
Primary Care Paramedics (PCP) builds on experienced gained by key staff in successfully delivering GP home visiting services using paramedics and other allied healthcare professionals for a Primary Care Networks, GP Alliances and Integrated Care Networks.
The service started with a trial in North Surrey using funding streams designated for “winter pressures” hospital admission avoidance. The trial demonstrated, convincingly, that home visits could be safely undertaken by paramedics and that, by scheduling visits through the day (rather than saving them for lunch & evening slots) hospital admissions, ambulance calls and ED self-referrals could be reduced.
We now deliver services across three CCG delivering several thousand home visits per year.
